We have a lovely team of Petsitters, who love looking after pets in their spare time. Their priority is to make sure that your pets are comfortable and well looked after whilst you are away. Informing you daily on what’s happening in your pets life so that you can feel at ease whilst on your holiday.

Karen has been with The Friendly Petsitters since 2022 and loves the work that she does. Karen is trained in Alternate Therapies and Life Coaching but truly loves animals with a passion and care for all of them as if they were her own. Karen has a gorgeous Grandfurr Huey. She also has 2 beautiful cats Molly and Flo and have had the joy of rabbits and rats over the years as well.

Alexis has been with us since the beginning of 2020. Alexis is passionate about working with animals, also holding an animal attendant job at a local Doggie Daycare, on top of owning a creative art & design business. Alexis has a dog named Huey and has 2 family cats called Molly & Flo.

Amelie started working with The Friendly Petsitters early 2023. She has grown up with horses and dogs throughout her life, and enjoys her time meeting new pets to look after. Amelie enjoys drawing and listening to music in her spare time and loves to collect vinyl records of her favourite artists.

Violet took over ownership of The Friendly Petsitters in February 2023. Before this Violet ran her own small petsitting business and had been a qualified Veterinary Nurse since 2018, working as a Vet Nurse post graduation until she had her son in 2021. Violet has always had a passion for working with animals and loves providing the best care possible to all pets great and small. Growing up on property, Violet has had experience with a wide range of animals, from horses all the way through to snakes and lizards.

Violet is now a full time student at University on top of being a full time business owner and Full time mother. She also has big dreams for the future of The Friendly Petsitters and looks forward to implementing them as she learns more through her studies. 

In her free time you can find Violet drawing or writing up creative writing pieces.

Tech Lead

Suzannah start petsitting in October of 2018 after Fudge, their Cavoodle, passed. We were looking for help over the Christmas period but they started within a week of our chat. Suzannah works full-time in the public service as an accountant, and as a hobbies, sings in the ANU choir, knits, and speaks French (they lived there for a while).

"I love dogs mostly and also foster with the English Cocker Spaniel Association of Australia but happy to look after most furry friends... just love coming home to a wiggly bum at the end of a day."

Kat started Petsitting 8 years ago and has a lot of experience with dealing with different types of pets. She is comfortable looking after animals great and small but now mostly looks after Cats and Dogs. Kat has always been a big lover of animals and has passed this onto her son who sometimes comes along with her to pet sits when appropriate. Kat also likes playing the guitar, reading and dragon boating in her free time and is a volunteer with the SES.

Oskar started working for The Friendly Petsitters in June 2023. They have a deep love for pets and looking after them. Oskar specialises in looking after Cats and Dogs, and has experience looking after the odd turtle from growing up with their family being part of ACT Wildlife. Oskar is dedicated to providing the best care possible, and goes out of their way to make the pets in their care comfortable. In their spare time, they love playing board games and spending time with their son.

Jasper has been part of The Friendly Petsitters since his mum took over in February 2023. Jasper has been helping with petsitting since February 2022 when he was only 4 months old! During this time he’s assisted in looking after both dogs and cats, but absolutely loves patting the big horses at his Nannan’s house. Jasper has 2 dogs at home called Sunny and Ciri, that he absolutely loves running around with and throwing balls for.
